Office of the President
The Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP) is a group of agencies at the center of the executive branch of the United States federal government. The EOP supports the work of the President. It comprises several offices and agencies, such as the White House Office, National Security Council, and Office of Management and Budget.

Council of Economic Advisers
The Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) is a United States agency that advises the President on economic policy. The CEA provides much of the White House's empirical research and prepares the President's publicly available annual Economic Report. The council comprises its chairperson and generally two to three additional member economists. 
Council on Environmental Quality
The Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) coordinates federal environmental efforts in the U.S. It works closely with agencies and other White House offices to develop ecological and energy policies and initiatives. It produces an annual report for the President on the state of the environment, oversees federal agency implementation of environmental impact assessments, and acts as a referee when agencies disagree over the adequacy of such assessments.
National Security Council
The National Security Council (NSC) is the principal forum the President of the United States uses to consider national security, military, and foreign policy matters. It is composed of senior national security advisors and Cabinet officials. The NSC advises and assists the President on national security and foreign policies and serves as the President's principal arm for coordinating these policies among various government agencies.
National Space Council
The National Space Council operates as an office of policy development and handles a portfolio of civil, commercial, national security, and international space policy matters. It is composed of cabinet-level members and supported by a User's Advisory Group. The Vice President of the United States chairs the council. 
 
Office of Management and Budget
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) produces the President's budget, examines agency programs, policies, and procedures to see whether they comply with the President's policies, and coordinates inter-agency policy initiatives. OMB also prepares the President's budget proposal to Congress and supervises the administration of executive branch agencies. 
 
Office of National Drug Control Policy
The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) evaluates, coordinates, and oversees executive branch agencies' international and domestic anti-drug efforts and ensures that such efforts sustain and complement State and local anti-drug activities. The Director advises the President regarding changes in the organization, management, budgeting, and personnel of federal agencies that affect U.S. anti-drug efforts.
 
Office of Science and Technology Policy
The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) has a broad mandate to advise the President on the effects of science and technology on domestic and international affairs. The OSTP is also authorized to lead inter-agency efforts to develop and implement sound science and technology policies and budgets and to work with the private sector, state and local governments, the science and higher education communities, and other nations toward this end.
 
Office of the United States Trade Representative
The U.S. Trade Representative heads the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and is responsible for developing and promoting American trade policy. USTR leads trade negotiations at bilateral and multilateral levels and coordinates trade policy with other government agencies. Its areas of expertise include foreign direct investment, commodity agreements, trade-related intellectual property protection, and trade disputes before the World Trade Organization.
President's Intelligence Advisory Board
The President's Intelligence Advisory Board (PIAB) is an advisory body to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. According to its self-description, it "provides advice to the President concerning the quality and adequacy of intelligence collection, analysis and estimates, counterintelligence, and other intelligence activities." The PIAB, through its Intelligence Oversight Board, also advises the President on the legality of foreign intelligence activities.
