The Media Centers support the academic curriculum both on the Main Campus and at Avon Williams (Off-Campus Instructional Site) by providing media production and instructional services to faculty and staff.

Services include:

• Event A/V setup for lectures, workshops, banquets, forums, etc. around TSU campuses
• Videography, audio recording, and editing for classroom and campus events
• CD and DVD duplication of class-related materials and/or previously recorded classroom and campus events
• Scanning of classroom related material on an as-needed basis for faculty and staff
• Podcast assistance by appointment, utilizing our editing bays and/or kiosks
• Equipment loans for classroom instruction and/or campus events

Media production equipment available for loan includes:

• Digital camcorders (e.g. Sony Handycam HDR-SR12)
• Digital still cameras (e.g. Canon PowerShot)
• Tripods (e.g. Velbon DV-7000)
• Microphones (e.g. Shure 515SD)

Media instruction equipment available for loan includes:

• Media carts w/ laptop and projector
• Portable front projection screens
• TV carts w/ Blu-Ray player
• PA systems

How to request service:

Advance consultation and scheduling are required for most media production services. All requests for videography and/or event A/V setup must be scheduled through this form.

Please submit your request at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the requested service. When your request is received, you will be contacted for confirmation and assignment of a multimedia specialist. There may be a department fee if the requested media production service is scheduled outside of normally scheduled hours.
