THE PURPOSE

The purpose of this space is to provide an out of class experience in various aspects of advanced technology. We want to retain students in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math as well as introduce students to these disciplines in a creative environment. This will also serve as a means for our facility to become versed in technology and become a state-of-the-art destination for learning and innovation within the university at large.

OUR STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO STATE OF THE ART HARDWARE

	Makerbot 3D printers provide students first-hand experience in the manufacturing process from concept to creation. It empowers students to design, collaborate and create amazing objects.
	The new Afinia H400 3D printer is the ultimate in affordability, reliability, and ease-of-use. Four-inch color LCD touchscreen; WIFI-capable for untethered printing. Fully enclosed with HEPA filtration system for safety; front and back access doors.
	The da Vinci 1.0 Pro 3D Printer from XYZprinting allows you to adjust the temperature settings for the extruder nozzle and aluminum print bed, which makes it compatible with third-party 1.75mm filaments.
	With the XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0 Pro 3D Printer Kit with Laser Engraver Module. Students can print 3D models as well as engrave custom designs into a variety of different materials such as plastic, leather, paper, cardboard or wood.
