I’m excited to have joined the TSU team in February 2024 as the Catalog/ InterLibrary Loan Librarian with the rank of Assistant Professor. As part of my responsibilities, I serve as the library subject liaison for the Sociology and Music departments. My music experience includes piano and percussion instruments.
I hold a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University and two bachelor’s degrees—one in Library and Information Sciences and one in English with a focus on children’s literature—both from the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to joining TSU, I have 5+ years of experience working and volunteering in public and academic libraries and most recently worked in the Access Services department as a library associate at the University of North Georgia. My interests include crocheting, listening to music, and traveling.
