I have been an academic librarian for 42 years and I have served 24 of those years at Tennessee State University in the Avon Williams Library. My primary responsibilities are in the areas of public service which include both reference and interlibrary loan. I am the library liaison to the departments of Finance and Economics and to Speech Pathology and Audiology. I received my Masters of Library Science degree from George Peabody College (since merged with Vanderbilt University) I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Kentucky University. I have a strong interest in History and Art. I have exhibited my art in various venues throughout Tennessee, as well as Kentucky, Indiana, Georgia, and Alabama.
